just wondering if anybody has any experience with the Manulife one account? Kind of seems like an interesting idea

There's a ton of discussion on BBs and financial sites - a few seem to endorse it (usually with conditions), while most advise against.

It's mass-marketed, but it really seems best suited to a limited group.

I use it with my clients when they are leveraging their home to invest. Works well if you are disciplined, definately not for everyone. If you have some q's shoot me a pm and I can give you a contact name & number.

I've had one for several years. My financial advisor has used as an investment vehicle for me and it has worked out so far. However a word of caution: YOU NEED TO BE VERY DICIPLINED FOR THIS. I got caught a few times not paying attention. BUt it is a definately a good way to go if you are planning an investment strategy OR wanting to pay your mortgage quickly. It's best used under advisement, not by yourself.
Just my 2 cents.
