I have just picked this skimmer up today, and was wondering what others have thought of it.

So far (after 1hour) i find that it is actually quieter than a rio nano skimmer. i bought it for my 90 for when i make the conversion. i currently am runnig it on a 45. it is in hang on mode and seem to be running like a dream. too new yet for skimmate as i took the rio off this tank.

well its been a day now a nd the skimmer is pulling what a ppears to be chocolate milk. out of the tank. this tank has only been running for about 2 monthes as it is mearly a temp tank. it did have a small (too small) skimmer on this tank before but man it came no where near to pulling this kind of crap out.

the skimmer settled in to the system in about 6 hours and is still whisper quiet. i have his unit running in my BR so it needs to quiet. well the aquaclear 50 on the tank next to it si twice as loud.

I had one several years ago and they work well for smaller tanks. I recommend them being in the sump since they need to fine tuned on a regular basis and can over flow quite easily.

I purchased this insump skimmer used from a fellow canreefer. I am so happy with this skimmer an my 72G. It pulls off great skimmate and is easy to adjust. My only complaint is it is very large (however I think most insump skimmers are comparable in size).
I would highly recommend it!
