Does anyone has microbubble issues with your deltec MCE600 skimmer? Anyway to fix the problem?

have you tried throwing a filter bag over the return line?

If the skimmer is new, it takes a few weeks for the bubbles to calm down. If it has been in operation for a while, try to dial the air inlet to full open, then slowly turn it to the closest to 2 o'clock ( the general sweet spot ), before you start to get microbubbles into the tank.

yeah, jury rigging some way to hang a filter sock under the return instantly cuts out your microbubbles for any HOB skimmer.

i actually get the best performance to microbubble ratio when my valve is 100% open. i get a full cup of dark brown skimmate + sludge. but there is a breakin period for the mce600 give or take 2 weeks for me to fully get rid of my microbubbles. the only bubbles i get now are from the fall as i dont use the plate.
