Just testing the waters to see if anyone has a 48" fixture they are wanting to sell for a good price:wink:! I am looking to upgrading to a 4' tank possibly and am wondering what may be available used in Calgary.
Not 100% decided as to whether I want to stick with T5HO's or try out MH so anything may be considered.
I am trying to keep cost down so unfortunately no top of the line stuff this time!
Thanks so much for looking!

Hi El Guappo!
Do you mean the ones from BC? I am hoping to avoid shipping if possible??
BTW did you catch the culprit?

no i havent caught anything yet. im thinking it may have been my arrow crab. the reserach say yes, maybe, and no to reef safe and i think the survivours killed him (lynching) just before i restarted tanks.

I cant find it now but im sure this morning i read a thread on a tank sale which included a 48" t5 light. from calgary.

Thanks, I got so excited for a second but I can't really do PC's because I have some SPS already.

I have a 48" TEK with 2 t5 10k's and 2 actinics I was thinking of selling. It's about a year to 1 1/2 years old, I quit useing it about 3 months ago and had just replaced the bulbs about a month before that. So, anyways only about a months use on the bulbs. Does have a small amount of salt corrosion on the reflector but otherwise in great shape. Let me know if you're interested, I come to Calgary (from Red Deer) quite frequently, and will be heading down tomorrow to pick up a new tank and a bunch of other goodies.

Let me know if you're interested.
