photos of my plumbing. giving credit where credit is due, this is the brainchild of jon. basically he thought everything out and did all the work, and i paid for the stuff and handed him mr. christie chewy chips ahoy when he needed them. 2" overflow pipe is in a J shape, so the bubbles head straight up. return is via a mag12, 1" pipes. t's off to provide flow to fuge, regulated by ball valve, and also male adaptor for vinyl tubing to make water changes very very easy (i can hardly wait to use that thing). the rest of the photos are pretty self-explanatory.

didn't have the right parts for the durso, that will get done after my floor is reinforced and canopy built. we'll do the durso, fill the tank and make sure everything is working over the course of one day.

yes, not only because of the durso, but also because it will be the culmination of many months of preparation. you can call me truman, jon will be eisenhower. if you want to come you can be montgomery.

You bet!
We used a 2" union on the drain and 4x1" unions on the pump return.
