my reactor was built by jon and is about 8"x8" and a little under 2' high. my tank is a 10lb, is about 5" in diameter, and around 1.5' high. i'm sure if necessary you could DIY a really compact reactor. and you could hang the tank horizontally from the top of the stand or something if necessary. the inside of my stand is about 5'x2' and comfortably hold a 4'x1'x18" sump/fuge, CO2 tank, reactor, timers, and a lot of cords, with room to spare and about 8" of clearance from the top of the tank or reactor. if i get off my lazy rear i'll take and upload some pictures.

If I was going to build a stand I would get Brad's plans with the side by side cabinets housing the tall items.....

Brad is a really cool guy who posts here once in a while. A good plan for Brad's stand is make friends witha welder pretty quick!!

Oh ya!! No problems!! Just get a whack of angle iron and solder it together in a box shape and you're good to go!!
Although I have a really tall side compartment, my reactor and CO2 tank fit under the main tank area. It is about 33" high and gives plenty of room.

One of my previous posts in the DIY section showed the frame of my stand before the wood went on if you wanted to look at it.
