I have a Canadian Tire UPS...the 400W version and it's great. It will run 3 Koralias for at least 5-6 hours without a problem. I haven't tried to make it run my return pump but I imagine that would significantly reduce my timeframe.

Yup. I have two. One on the FOWLR and one on the Reef. No complaints. I run a MJ 1200 on each, for surface agitation in the event of an outage. Notice, however, that they don't actually call it a UPS, so I don't think it is uninterrupted. I think there is a very miniscule delay, FWIW. Not something you'd want a computer on.

So do you just keep it plugged in to the wall outlet and plug your PH into it?

That's right.
