Ripwoop, sorry to say that you're probably not getting a lot of response because mushrooms usually end up being a plague rather than a pleasure. One has turned into 40 in my tank...which isn't bad yet, but when it reaches 75 I won't know what to do and the growth rate is exponential.

I am gonna say its the location too. Even here in Kamloops I would still consider my location a hassle for a lot of canreefers. Mushrooms though unless theyre something unique or sought after. Your location puts you in the spot where it's hard to find people who want to go somewhat out of there way for 5 dollars in mushrooms when the gas probably to get them makes them more. If you really want to get into the trade or sell of something like your mushrooms, I would try to get them to multiply into colonies and make them worth the trip to get them.

I do not think it is that no one is interested in mushrooms though. I happen to appreciate their colors and easy maintenance. And some control in my tank keeps them from out doing any of my SPS or any corals for that matter.

Yeah. Where you live is really a downer. Why don't you move to Mission or some other cool place like that! LOL!!!!!!

also have 1 frag of Ricordea green and purple with green mouth. size of a nickle $10.....about time the camera took a good close up :)
