The trigger looks better in person I think, its pretty impressive. One of those rare deepwater species from hawaii, apparently it wasnt even described until 1993.

If I had a tank large enough (Oh and of course the cash) I would love to have that fish...I think after looking at it for a bit that it is beautiful. Someone will be lucky!

Doesn't Big Als have a PAIR of goldenback triggers .... and the female is probably about the same size as JL's ..and the males is even larger.

Last time i saw was 1799 for the pair .. but recently the female was seperated.

Not to start a price war .. but just a heads up. Different LFS have specimens that they sell cheaper i guess hehe.

i was in the store when they got that fish in and as soon as they put it in the tank i thought it looked amazing ... then they told me it was 1600 hahaha

If it is truly a deep water species, I can't see it being very happy in most tanks...especially a reef setup.
