View Full Version : White "Buggie" Lookin' Things?

All over the sides of the tank this evening I noticed what looked like air bubbles. Turned out to be the smallest of white "bugs" crawling around??

Are they something that is trouble?

I've been leaving the lights off to cut down on some algae or diatoms. Which is now not there anymore (on the sides of the tanks that is, its still on the live rock though), but these little fellas are now all over?

Thanks for any insight!

Too Cool!

Thanks very much, that picture is likely a "super" close up?

If so, good news for me!

Thanks again,

It sure is. In reality they are minute, from the size of a "." to maybe an "__"

I had some little critters that fell under that description. I posted a picture here: http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=42131
Does it sorta look like that? I don't have a very good camera. But that's exactly what I see. Little white "buggie" things moving around.

I don't know that it even looks any different than that...... Its like thats my tank in the picture.

Thanks for the thread too, I think both the advice to me here, and that post is comfirming to me that these are copepods waiting to be eaten by the fish I'll be stocking the tank with.
