I just got a message on my Shaw Digital Box and from now until August 1st Animal Planet (134 in the Lower Mainland) is free for a preview.

Well Animal Planet bundled with Kids Discovery Channel set me back a whole $3.00 a month.
My kid loves both channels.
yeah, we get Animal planet which I enjoy and national geographic which I have to say I'm a little dissapointed in... too much repetition in the programing (ie: 3 shows i'm not interested in involving the science of a bank robbery or the building of an airport followed by....those same three shows....all night)
I like "animal cops" on AP

Here in Campbell River we dont have Shaw, although they have offered to buy our member owned tv station for 46 million. I can't believe they offer a free service, because as some of the members have been telling us "Shaw" is the Devil LOL

Service-wise I love Shaw compared to Telus. Both are helpful on the phone but if you want a service call........ at least Shaw says..... "we will be there between 9am-12 noon" and we will call earlier if we are done earlier. Freaking Telus........ "we will be there between 9-5pm" no calls to tell you when they are in the area and sometimes they miss a the whole service window and they have to reschelude next week :P
