skimmer for JBJ 24

oops, double post, I didn't notice the Nano section :redface:

Can you tell what I could use as a skimmer in a JBJ 24g. I was told to order this:

but greg at J&L said the cup size was a problem.
I already tried using this piece of junk:

Any ideas would be good!!!
