I know my tank is not that old, and still setting up. But wondering what, if anything I can do to clear up my water? Its a little foggy, so to speak. you can see the with the lights on. Especially notice it with the Actinics. Not totally cloudy, but like a light fog I guess. Cant see the back wall clearly. Just have filter socks and Skimmer in sump. Little poly Wool too. But no LR rubble or nothing yet. Am looking to get some Chaeto with my next JL order

Thx in advance

Try running some carbon.

Ya, forgot to add, I run a bag of carbon. Ones for my Fluval 205 canister filter. maybe not enough carbon? its a 3"x4" bag I'd say

Nope, no gobys, only pair of clowns and a Gramma. Gramma just added 2 days ago though

when i started mt overflow at first it was throwing out these tiny micro bubbles and at eye level it gave a somewhat cloudy appearance, fixed it, and it was m.bubbles as suspected, any chance this could be happening?

If its microbubbles, they are Really micro LOL the more I look at it, it may just be just stuff, like fine bits of mysis, etc, floating around. small enough pieces that will pass through the 100 Micron Socks

ya i just added a filter sock a week ago and it pretty well emilinated my micro bubbles, for alot of people it just cuts them down. my first guess was overly strong flow in the sump but you mentioned that you're sumps relatively dead in terms of flow, is there anything directly splashing near the return pump, canister filter, skimmer, reactor?
