My LFS has a couple of these in. Nice looking. Heniochus diphreutes = (reef safe w/caution), Heniochus acuminatus = (not reef safe). He doesn't know which he has. Invoice only says "Bannerfish". I think they are diphreutes as the last black line ends right at the tip of the anal fin. I'm wondering if anyone has had experience with these fish and what I can expect. How reef safe are they, and what do they like to pick at?
Thanks, Lance

both are very beautiful but they are very hard to tell apart expecially when smaller
their bodys havnt developed enough to show definition such as the extended snout or tail fin
i wouldnt risk putting either into a reef tank .. even though people have
probably had them in their reef tanks ... you never know what you can expect.
and its stressful for the fish if it ends up eating your coral and you want to get rid of it..
