hows everyone doing, I have just left Panama, and am on my way to San Juan. So far it is hot, as in 37 at night and mid 40's during the day but it has cooled off a tiny bit now that I am on the Caribean Sea. Anyways I will say high again later.

I'll be in San Jose that day, so I'll see you 2 weeks later, unless I end up sailing to Colombia and "vanish" somehow :)

With that kind of heat, does it get pretty hot in the engine room?

ya, were working in an average heat of 68 Degree C (w2ith the humidity factored in.) acording to medical guide lines we can only be in the space for 20 min then we have to be out in an air conditioned place and relax for 40 min. and we have to drink 1L of water every 10 min we are in the space and some more when we are out. for the most part we can follow that but there is on guy on a watch that has to stay down for 40 to 50 min at a time, and when we are conducting drills most are down there for 1 hour solid. we have had a few heat related injuries. I even went down from heat exhaustion after a fire exercise when we were around panama.
hard on the body when your not used to that kinda heat.

Ok, so after a few port visits in Dubai, and countless weeks patroling for bad guys, we finnaly arived at Fujairah today for a few days. I have to say anyone who would come to this part of the world in the summer has rocks in there head, it is just to damn hot to do anything but sweat.
