Most of us in the Calgary group mail ordered them from J/L. This was quite some time ago.

Paul's Aquarium had one when I was there on Sat. I don't know how many they had but I saw at least one.

Whats so special about fighting conches? I have two queen conches and they do well on the algae, I think I will get a few more but I've been curious about the fighting conches.

i believe the main difference is the queens get HUGE and the fighting dont.

Got my "fighter" from Paul's Aquarium last week and my "strawberry" conch from Seacare about two months ago. :D

Are you sure? The last order from J&L included some Queens, and I believe the FC's came from SWC. I know mine did.

From what I understand after asking them about it, J&L carried Fighting conches once a long long time ago and they couldn't sell them so they stopped ordering them. They only order Queens now occassionally. So most likely you are right, the Fighting conchs did not come from J&L.
