The wrasse is from J&L. Picked one up for myself, & one for TomR.

They ARE a nice wrasse. Be careful tho as they REALLY like to jump. Mine somehow jumped out of my tank thats covered with a full glass lid. He must have gone up the side of the return line.Eggcrate wont keep them in. They are thin enough they will go right thru it.

Thanks to my friend Anthony.

I have a beautiful Pencil Wrasse. Hopefully he will stay put in his new surroundings.

Mikee,

Yes, 2 frogfish in the 2nd pic.

TomR,

You're very welcome. Mine is the dominant wrasse in the frag/seahorse tank right now & started eating small krill, bloodworms & Hikari mysis already. For wrasses, they are very calm. Last night, it even allowed me to cup my hand around it. I literally could have caught him without a net. I've never known a wrasse species to behave like this.

Coral safe, but any fish that can fit in its mouth is dinner!:twised:

Frogfish will eat anything up to about 2/3 their length and try to eat anything bigger. They can be picked on by larger fish.

I have one in a tank with clams. It's the only fish I have in there.

:surprise: The Wartskin feeds by ambush, lying in wait for an unsuspecting fish or crustacean to go by and then lunging forward, grabbing and swallowing the victim whole. The Wartskin has been known to devour fish nearly equal to its own size.

nice looking fish though
