i just got this from a fellow reefer, he's being trying to catch him for a while.
is this variety worth keeping?

Looks like a G.smithi to me.Clint

I would say yes, G. smithii. However, the one thing that confuses me is that it lacks red knobs at the base of its uropods. Every single G. smithii Ive seen so far has the red knobs except this guy. other than that, it looks like G. smithii, a species that makes a very good tank inhabitant.

this guy is about an inch. i'm coming to kelowna on next wed. could bring him for someone.
