As the tittle says. WHAT SHOULD I DO!! i just did a 4 g water change and im going add 6 gallons of fresh SW. Is ther anything i could still or need to do.

last time I dropped a bit of rust in my tank, I had a peanut butter sandwich :). If you're going to lose sleep over it, add a bit of carbon. You might get a bit of algae out of it though, so a water change isn't a bad thing. Not a huge deal though...

Lol. yea i thought it was copper but found out it was rust i felt ALOT better but still did a W/C. Just in case.
I'm using some very expensive rust in a reactor in my tank right now. Deliberately pumping water across it, hoping it'll adsorb some phosphates.
