Glenn, here is an RS135 (even nicer) in Calgary.

Hope that helps.

The RS135's aren't as effective as the RS100's. EuroReef goofed by putting too big a pump on the RS135's...plus they are usually noisey and require a mod. But if it's a good price, then scoop it! :P

I disagree, the RS135 is a fine little skimmer for the price you pay. I rather enjoy mine.

^ Go do some research on them. The issue only affects the RS135. It's been talked about a lot on Reef Central, and I've seen it myself as well. The noise problem isn't apparent in all of the RS135's for some reason, but it's a very common complaint.

Noise might be a concern if it is under a stand in the middle of your living area but mine is in a remote sump in a utlity room so any noise is not an issue for me. Honestly though my return pump is louder than my RS135... the only anoying noise is the sucking from the airline.

That's the noise they're all complaining about. However, I'm more concerned about the pump not being a particularly good match for the skimmer. The RS100 is seeming to outperform the RS135 on the same tank. Needless to say, the RS135 is still a great skimmer, just not as good as it could be with a different pump. ;)
