Looking for a couple of LumenArc 3 reflectors with sockets.
Will pay for shipping if the price is right.
Thanks.

Good luck! I've been looking for a few months. Probably just have to buy them new.

I know there was a group buy two years ago, so there might be some around. If you decide to buy, let me know where they got good pricing.
Thanks.

J&L Aquatics has them for $159.95 (not listed on their website). Free shipping if you can get the sub-total over $200. I haven't come across a better price...

They are $129 at PGS (http://www.pacificgardensupply.com/products.asp?cat=2)
That is where the group buy was from and where I got mine. I asked them to ship them USPS and that was no problem. Got them in a couple of days. They are great people to work with and are very helpful

I think once you tack on shipping and border duties that the $159.95 at J&L is a better price...? I'm sure the shipping and duties were more than $30?

As I said I had then shipped USPS so there was no duty or Brokerage fees.

Just putting options out there.

^ Really? I paid duties (but not brokerage) on a skimmer that was shipped via USPS. I didn't get the bill for about 3 months though.

where was the skimmer made?

Luminar reflectors are made in the USA so there is no Duty

I bought the skimmer used. It was a Remora...I think they're US made. Maybe I paid duty because it was from a person, not a company?

So you're saying when you bought the reflectors, all it cost you was $129.95 plus USPS shipping? Do they have taxes like us? What was your total cost each? I suppose it would cost a lot more in shipping if I was only to order one than with the group buy though...

Even so, I'd rather pay that extra $30 to J&L, order a couple more things to get the order over $200 (which will be easy), and get free shipping from a BC owned and operated company. :)
