Should I be worried? I have about 5 of the first pic on my GSP(now in quarentine) and about 1000 of the little "white dots with legs". They look like 1mm brittle stars.

 is there a cure? I cant tweeze them out of the GSP.

No worries? I heard they sting like crazy and will actually kill some corals. Also read they spread.

pic 1 is a digitate hydroid and pic 2 is another type of hyrdoid

I have the digitates in my tank as well, a few, and they don't really seem to do much, I have coral near them that is unharmed but I hear they can sting.

Use to have lots when I would get some new LR but them they seemed to died back after a few months, probably only a couple left. Don't think they were ever around my SPS but didn't seem to bother the Xenia. To get rid of them could try a smear of kalk paste over the area.

for the second pic look here (http://www.reefs.org/hhfaq/anemones/view) (Hydrozoan) and do a search

Wouldnt Kalk damage the GSP? The Hyrdas supposedly go away on thier own, and they dont seem to be bothering anything...just annoying spots on the glass.

Hydroids usually do go away on their own, the only thing I know they can absolutely devastate is dwarf seahorses.
