last night i purchased a new addition for my tank, a small sixline wrasse (about 1-1.5"). so far it has dealt a solid blow to the brown flatworm population, not to mention it's one cute little bugger!

also a semi-full tank shot update. im breaking in my tunze 9002 skimmer and the only place it will fit right now it at the front. it's ugly, but it's serving a purpose. i'd rather have the skimmer working full capacity instead of taking out my old one and waiting a week or so for the new one to break in.

please keep in mind that this is after ive been away for about 18 days.

the xenia has gone crazy. i now have a xenia forest that my clownfish loves to swim through.

sixlines are awesome, pretty cool how they make themselves a little web to sleepin in at night, thought mine was dead the first time i saw that.

it's a 24 gallon aquapod. i really dig it!

i havent seen the wrasse make a web yet, i can never find him at night. i think it sleeps with the gramma in the rockwork.

Cameron- if you're ever on the north shore i could probably hook you up with a striped mushroom. just noticed that one of them has just sprouted two new ones.

Very cute! I think my next resident will have to be a sixline :) Where did you get him in Van?

Puff, how long till you noticed a decrease in your flatworm population?

overnight! im serious!

i woke up in the morning and was like, "whoa...wtf? where did all the flatworms go?"

i thought i was just imagining things, but this morning i sat and watched it for a while. it kept picking at the rocks. upon closer inspection he was tearing flatworms off the rock!!

I got it at J&L. they had just got some in and this one was the smallest. there was a few other VERY nice specimens, but they were bigger than i was looking for.
