I had the muchies on the way home from work last night and I picked up some nacho cheese bugles. The little horn shaped corn snacks.

They still make bugles? Where would I find these?

I've seen them in safeway, save-on, superstore, wal-mart, zellers,
7-11, and most gas station convinence stores. Basically everywhere

You can still get Bugles just about anywhere. They come in several different flavours now, too. The snack section of any supermarket carries them.

Buttered popcorn, not the microwave kind but oil popped. Seems pretty mundane for you guys though.

I heard a rumor that Old Dutch Mexican Chilie Chips are back. Has anyone seen these around yet? Best potatoe chip there ever was!

Yes they are back. My wife has been wanting them for years and found some on Sunday at the gas station in Coronation, Alberta.

Now she can quit whining about that one.

I like to do Triscuit crackers with just about anything - my favourite is with sharp cheddar, hot peppers, black olives and green onions.

The crackers are great because you can just microwave the entire concoction to melt the topping but the crackers stay nice and crisp - better than tortilla chips!

If you add some meat to it (i.e. spicy ground beef) it becomes a meal that takes you less than half an hour to prepare.

hot banana mushy goodness
(even the title fits the "munchies" category heh...)

Ingredients:
1 banana
small pinch of goodness ( example: 5 or 10 chocolate chips, teaspoon of peanut butter, dollop of honey...be creative)

take the banana and the goodness and mush together in microwave safe bowl.
Nuke for 30 seconds (or longer but careful it gets SMOKIN' hot REALLy fast....trust me, it's like napalm in your mouth lol)

enjoy :)

They still make cheese wiz? Wow, I did not know!

I'm thinking I will make a party mix or something, our house is constantly devoid of snack foods.

My grandmother used to make a banana dish, sliced banana in milk with a bit of sugar sprinkled on top. Delicious!
