Hi I have this plant taking over my Aquarium. Can someone please help me identify?

Caulerpa taxifolia
can get out of hand.. try pulling as much of it out as you can..
or get a fish that will eat it..my old foxface loved it.

I can remember buying that stuff for a tank I had with 6 tangs in it. Never got out of control with 6 of them eating it.

Thanks for the help guys! I pulled most of it out after everyones advice. I actually learned the hard way: tried to grow it in preparation for use in a fuge as well but fore some reason a bunch of them vaporized and I lost 4 fish and an anemone. :(

these caleurpas release toxins when they vapourize or go into assexual reproduction which may be why your fish died. I grow all my algaes in a fuge.

and does anybody have this locally? I wouldn't mind getting some for it for my fuge too.
