You should check out the 1" version that they're about to release. This new version disassembles for cleaning. I use to have the one that you're looking at, dropped it bout four inches and bam, busted. Had I been able to take the thing apart to realign the cogs, I doubt it would have become garbage can food.

Hasn't this rumor been going around for about 3 years now? They were suppose to release the 1" version soon when I bought my first SCWD...about 3 years ago.

You should check out the 1" version that they're about to release. This new version disassembles for cleaning. Yeah, but Premium Aquatics now has the thing listed for pre-order. That's pretty compelling IMO.

Have you tried riverfront aquariums on riverfont ave yet they have a decent selection of stuff.
