For everyone who is going on the reef tour I was asked by the owner of blue world if I would like to raffle off different buckets of salt from his store while we are at my house. I haven't worked out all the details yet but I thought I'd start with seeing what kind/brand of salt people use and would be interested in. Ideas, comments, suggestions? Thanks Laurie

Sounds like a good idea, maybe have some other items too plus the salt? I just bought some new IO
But if it is only the salt, for me itd be Instant ocean or Reef Crystals

blue ocean is a small Ma & Pop store very excellent selection of livestock very competitive pricing too small selection of equipment & supplies I frequently visit the place mostly because of the fact that dori & Mike are very freindly shop owners not too sure if im allowed to post this but they are located @

Yes I agree Mike and Dori are great, and the store is set up wonderfully. Mike approached me about raffling off the salt so Jeff I don't want to push it/or offend him by asking for more stuff. Mike mentioned he would try to get three different types of salt, when I talk to him next I will let him know the brands everyone mentioned. Thanks everyone for the info.

I went to Blue World today and these are the buckets of salt he gave me: Reef Crystals, Oceanic, and Tropic Marin. I didn't see any IO when I was there so I guess he was sold out of that type of salt. For the people on the tour who want to get a free bucket of salt, when we reach my house, I will put your name in a pail and whoever's name gets pulled for that bucket wins it.
