Hi all. Im new to this site and like all of you Im always looking to learn as much as I can about our own little reefs. I started mt addiction with a 55g mixed reef. A few months later came a 45g mixed reef. I just finished building a new house and setting up my dream tank(for now). Its a 311g tank(60'"x40"x30") with a 90g sump and 45g fuge in the basement. It is only a month old but contains everything from the 55g system(2 1/2 years running). Still need some more LR but its all coming together. Here is some pics.

you can ask a moderator too. or you can repost it there and just quit on this one. where are you posting your pics from? You can put your pics on photobucket than upload them from there.

Some pics through the end of the tank. Lighting is 3 250w AquaMedic 10K pendants and 2- 80w helios T5HO Actnics. Two more on the way. Can a moderator move this to the proper forum. I still cant add more pics.

Hi. Welcome to Canreef

You can post some pics here or in the picture forum, which is for just posting various pics. You could also start a tank build or tank journal thread in the Journal forum.

For picture posting, one can use the links as you did or as mentioned have them elsewhere, like Photobucket or in our Photopost gallery and then post here. This should show you how

Welcome to Canreef Adam. Those dimensions on your 311g are impressive. Enjoy your tank build.

If it helps, go to and join www.photobucket.com (http://www.photobucket.com) . You can upload lots of pictures to your account and then just link them to your posts on Canreef. Its very easy and all the pictures are resized to fit your post very nicely.

Please PM if you would like me to move your post to Tank Build forum.

How do I get the pics from photobucket onto this web page?

Assuming that you've already got the images posted on Photobucket...Each image has four options below it. Click on the one called "IMG code". That will automatically do a "copy" function....then you can just "paste" that into your Canreef message.

You won't see the final result until you submit the message to Canreef, or do a preview of your message.
