 I would like to know if anybody is using L.E.D. lights on their system. I have an opportunity to try a 23" 75 l.e.d. system. The spec's on this light are sort of limited but I was going to put a pair of them on a 27g tank that I am going to set up at my shop. Each light strip creates about 6000k in light temp. I am only going to put a few mushroom rocks and a couple of small fish in this system. The reason I am leaning towards trying this system is heat control. In the summer even with a/c I would be concerned about temp in tank. This light system is only going to cost me about $120 u.s.d. so it isnt super expensive and similar in price to t5's. Any suggestions?

People are using LED's.
Definitely OK for corals you mention, I can tell that Tek T5 is way too much light for mushrooms in my tank.

Can you tell us more about the light?

Not a whole lot of info on it other than the colour temp and that they recommend 2 for reef tanks, Hence the $120.00 price. They are listed at $60.00 each.
