i dont see any holes for filters or drain for a sump how are you gonna keep it alive?

most likely he is going to run a basic system with hang on filters. :sad:

there are holes drilled for supply and return on the top of the tank to accomodate 1" bulkheads. The thing about octopus is the will stick their tentacles into powerheads in the tank, so I want to reduce the amount of equipment *in* the tank. Here is my tentative filtration plan:

Not in this tank, but here is one of my guests, fast asleep. He has been here since Sunday afternoon, and already all he does is sleep. Even through a water change...
