I decided to part ways with the AE kalk mixer that I had running . I just bought a new container of (RowaKalk Kalkwasser Additive ) I think this is the 1000 ml as it was around 30 bucks never used. I want 160 for both, located in white rock. email geradw@telus.net

This is around 2 yrs old I guess, I bought it from Ocean aquatics ... similar to the one on the OA website. NOT PM brand its AE which I believe was the ones he was having made. I paid 199 a couple yrs back. Thanks

Never had one before and I am interested. Is yours a plug and play type? Do I need to get anything else to make it work? Thanks>>darryl:biggrin:

I also have the PM kalk reactor and really like it. The only thing you need is a timer to turn on the pump 3-4 times/day for 10-15 minutes to mix the kalk. It plugs into 1/4" tubing, and thus regular airline hose will also work.

No idea why you would want to do a mix by hand ., I never have and never wanted to. Its a maxijet ph that mixes up the kalk whenever you want. Plug this into a timer and your set. I have a digital timer that I will throw in with the price,. I ran mine for 4 minutes 3 times a day . Depends on how much evaporation you have with your tank. I ran mine with a auto top off system. the float valve drops turns on a pump in a fresh water resevoir pumping this water through the kalk mixer and therefore pushes kalk into the tank.
