View Full Version : Any Victoria Area Reefers With a Spare Bioball or Two?

I'm well on my way to hacking apart this Seaclone to see what I can get out of it. One of the remaining things I need to do is a bioball mod to the MJ 1200. I went by J&L today and they only had some tiny little spindly ones and their normal bioballs were sold by the bucket (I'm not about to pay for a bucket of useless bioballs when all I need is one or two).
So, I'll be moving back to Victoria tomorrow and I'm wondering if anyone has a spare bioball they'd be willing to part with?

I've got lots of bioballs laying around unfortunately I live on the east side of Alberta. What is the MJ1200 bioball mod? Thanks in advance for the answer.

If your moving to Vic, then you should check this place out.

Thanks scumchug! I was busy moving and setting up this weekend but I'll PM you later today to get in touch.
hillbillyreefer,
The bioball mod is is just chopping a bioball up to place it over the stock impeller of a MJ to turn it into a needle wheel pump on a skimmer.
