Didnt look ghetto at all. Good job! But it looked as though only 1 wavysea was working and I didnt see your Tunze wave maker...did I miss it somehow?

i have 3 wavyseas and the one in the middle is not working. the wave maker is on the end of the tank that the video starts at and is on the right hand side.

Video looks good. Aquascaping is kick-a$$. Did you do it with pvc substructures?

If I would have gone to full screen the first time I would have been able to see the wavebox.

Sweet Colin. Like I said prob one of the best looking tanks for aquascaping I have seen, love the arches. Did the same (pvc substructure) in my tank and am REALLY happy with the way it turned out. Took the better part of a weekend but it was worth the farting around. How long did you spend doing yours?

well i planned it out on paper for about a week and then when i got down to it, i threw out the drawings and went with the idea in my head. it take maybe 2 or 3 full days i cant remember exactly. the wife loved it though :)

Colin, do you have pictures of your PVC structures before the rock? The wife is starting to put stuff in the tank and if I dont get them built soon she is going to have piles of rocks for me to work around.

i do scott but i actually left all the rock in the tank too but when i built the structures, i laid a tarp out on the floor on top of towels to protect the floor and would build the structur outside the tank in sections and would install them after. if that makes sense  get a pvc cutter before you start i didnt know they existed until after i cut everything with a hacksaw

Wow Colin, the tank looks fantastic and I love the rockwork on the LHS. Makes me want to try that on my next tank.

So are the sound effects in the video your lens ricocheting off the glass?

it is actually my son playing right in front of the tank and he wouldnt move when i was telling him too thats why i stand at the left side of the tank for so long, i was trying to squeeze past him

Agreed on the awesome rock work!!! I have been looking at agrocrete to get that effect but this looks much better... pardon my ignorance but did you affix the rock to the PVC with silicone or just prop it up?
