Hi, I usually go to JL aquatics and havn't really tried any other stores in the area besides Big Als. I live around Port Moody and was wondering what some other good stores are in the area. Thank you and Merry Christmas.

Another vote for OA.

Especialy if customer service matters to you.

Also their great selection of corals is by far the best in the lowermainland.

I too would highly recomend ocean aquatics. Not to sound like a broken record.

Here are my suggestions.

Fish ---> J&L
Corals ---> Ocean Aquatics and J&L
Cured live rock ---> King Ed's

Have a great Christmas!

J&L is definitely the LFS that i frequent the most. it's the closest, has great prices, and a decent and regularly changing selection of livestock.

Ocean Aquatics is a GREAT store, i bought my live rock from there. the only reason that it isnt my main LFS is that is is over an hour drive from my house...where J&L is only 20 minutes or so. They definitely treat you great in there. i want to go out there again soon...but it's a hard thing to justify 2 hours of driving for some coral or fish that i most likely dont need.lol
