I purchased this piece about 8 weeks ago from Hidden Reef?

This photo is from after 10 days showing lots of colour from the yellow/cream I purchased it.

And these two pics are after 6 weeks.

I have had all kinds of different opinions as to what this SPS is from A. efflorens to a type on monti sp. My guess is Acropora solitaryensis. Whats your best guess?

I can see the pictures fine in Firefox. On a hunch I just tried IE and sure enough, the pictures don't show, but they show up as links you can click and then see the picture.

Sweet Acro BTW.

Hmmm OK. I use IE7 but maybe that's not the explanation then. In any case I use Firefox and I see the pictures fine. Doug maybe just try again, maybe Albert was working over your "internets" last night :p

No luck with logging in and out. Not sure Tony. Where does it say that. I would think its the latest version, as I usually update when something comes out.

It would be under "Help" and then "About." But yeah you're probably on the newest ... I'm not sure what to suggest, sorry. Some kind of third-party app (Norton?) maybe blocking the images?

Jason McK

It could be the firewall. If your at work of something. Also check your security settings in IE they could be blocking

But you really should try Firefox. It's just a better internet with FF :)

Your tank looks good.
Doug and Mark, try this. Click on the photopost gallery, then go to member gallery, select P. Then keep hitting the "back" button until you get back to this thread and see if the pictures are there. Works for me, just don't ask me why.

I'll check with Titus to see if anything got upgraded. The pictures are attachments. Seems to me it *used* to be that attached pictures showed up as links you had to click. These just show up? Which is weird, because the URL is something like "http://canreefblahblahblah/attachmentid=some_really_ridiculous_big_number" and not something like "blahblahblah.jpg". (or .gif, or .bmp or whatever). So it actually makes sense to me that they wouldn't show up, what I don't get is why it works at all for some of us.

well maybe its something I am doing?

I click on attachment and upload pictures then attach them with paper clip.

Is there a better way to paste photos?

I am limited to about 3-4 pictures based on size.

Thanks for the kind words on the tank but I am chomping at the bit to get those dam reeflos the OM showed up today in mail Yeah!!!!

I will post a thread on the 210 build

Looks like you're doing it correctly ... I'm not sure what to suggest. If I could reproduce the problem I could poke at it to figure it out but it's working fine for me ....

Another way you can post pictures .. if you have a web storage somewhere (either your ISP or photobucket or the like), you can upload it to there, then just link to the photo in your post by embedding the URL inside ... tags.

Doug

Ok, I tried an attachment to see if the rest of us can see it. I will remove it from your thread after.

BTW, sorry for the hijack of your thread PzReefer...

Doug, if you click the paperclip a second time, it will add new tags (something like "somethingsomething"). These take the attachment one step further and display the images automatically. Give it a try?
