Although I am generally considered technically challenged I somehow was able to attach myself to the calgary aquarium email discussion ring. I often get threads about things. I recently got this one:
For all of you that ordered frozen mysid shrimps from me in late December/early January, the order will arrive Feb. 6. I will bring orders to the CAS meeting on Feb 11, or, if you wish them sooner, please contact me, and I will arrange for pick-up/delivery. For everyone that did not order, or for anyone who wants extra, I will have a limited quantity of extra 8 oz flats of both the regular and small-sized mysids available for $5 each.

This is mysis shrimp from lake Okanagan and is apparently of good quality. The group meets at the thornhill community center I think. If you're interested in this you can PM me and I will give you the persons email address.

Ross, are you getting any? I would take a couple for sure. I'd be interested to try what he calls "small-sized" mysids as well.

I sent him an email asking for 4 large. When he replies I will also ask about the small ones.

I am wondering if they are selling Mysis from Kyle. I actually liked them better than PE ones. To me the PE ones are a lot of water, while Kyle's were solid Mysis. I accidentally melted all I had from Kyle. Now I have to use PE ones. So I would be open to getting more Kyle ones.

Bob, didn't you have some sort of trade going with Kyle? What's the scoop.

rossb - I would be interested in 4 bags of small.

No that is long dead. I sold the skimmer to a guy in Coquitlam.

When you click on "email" below my posts, The address is correct. I just sent myself a test email. 8)

I am not terribly concerned. I think it cast $9.95 to mail

That seems to prove I don't need a skimmer. I have had it hooked up on several tanks, and never really had much skimmate. That is why I stopped using it. :D

Yes they are. I guess it all a part of my wanting to run things as natural as possible. Although I do run Dick Boyd's Chemipure, and a refugium.

BTW I sent you several emails during the time I was shipping the skimmer, each time stating how it was going, to keep you updated. I never did receive a reply.
