Hey guys i'm looking for that post of the 20 foot worm that was found in someones tank. I can't remeber if it was on RC or here.
Anyone remeber it? It was from a while ago
He laid it out in his garage

Poor guy's tank crashed a few months ago, I believe. That was ugly.

That was ugly. Reminded me of a worm I saw at Hidden Reef not too long back that someone brought in. Really creepy looking

franklin, yeah it did crash. that really sucks because his tank was one of the ones that inspired me to get in the hobby in the first place. I do not know if he decided to get back into tropical SW, but he does still have two (at least) coldwater tanks. they're gorgeous but he insists that they're just experiments and not really displays. there's a link at the top of his page.

BTW...if anyone manages to capture one of those worms (Eunicid family)...I will gladly take it. Like bristleworms, I've found them to be good detrivores.
So far, the only ones I've seen in my latest tank are pretty small.

I hear his tank is still running, as per a few RC threads. He ended up making some changes, as not everything was wiped out. I think there is new aquascaping in some areas, and he changed the placement of a bunch of corals.
Yeah, the Oregon reef (Steave Weast) went from being unbelievably, incredibly awesome, to being unbelievably awesome. He lost a LOT of coral colonies -- very sad.
The RC thread (http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1080179) has the story. Read the first post. There used to be photos of the tank after his rebuild, but they've been stripped out (not sure why RC does that...)

HOLY ^&%#*^)(*&)*&! My life has a new meaning. To make my tank look half as good as those.
