Just wondering what people feed their clams?
I have a couple of smaller ones that I don't think that light is enough and I am thinking that I need to feed them as well.
Please let me know what you are using and how often.
thanks

that is why I avoid the little guys.
I do nto feed my clams at all. But I have heard a lot of success with the small ones if you cut a pop bottle in half and just ust the bottom. Poke a hole in the bottom and invert it over the clam. then squirt phytoplacton into the bottle. Give is about 5 -10 minutes and the clam is fed for a few days

DT's phytoplankton or other similar "green water/live phyto" type product.

I would do as Jason suggests though. Otherwise, at least in my experience, for the clams to get enough, you end up feeding too much for the tank and then you "tank your parameters" (ie. spike your bad levels). And then the clams die anyhow. So be careful it's a very fine balance.

Ca and Alk need to maintained rigorously as well.
