225 gallon fw setup

i am about to aquire a 225 gallon tank with and overflow. which i am planning to setup a sump with. was wondering if anyone had any ideas or suggestions on some things to make it a tank of the month setup cause i am tired of saltwater ppl winning :mad: :2gunfire:

not worried about the planted side more the mechanical setup of parts and pieces to have a good operation tank
