Hi, I've overdrived 2 NO 40w with a WH7 1 6500k and 1 actinic. Is it normal that the actinic looks more faded and less fluorescent than the one that is not overdrived??

Yes, they look more whitish than normal actinics

So should I only overdrive my 2x40w 6500k and let my 2 actinics normal ?? or even if they look more white than blue it's better to overdrive them also ???

thanks again...

are they brand new bulbs? if so give them a couple weeks.. they will deepen in color as they break in (the Phillips o3's tend to get more purple) so then you can decide if it is enuf blue for you.

I am not sure yet.. I have been runningmine for 6 months (a 30 watt bulb with two wires off a WH7) and the light level is the same as it was the first day.. no drop off at all yet.
there is a noticable difference between normal power and using two wires to slightly overdrive it..
