This should of been posted a long time ago, but I finally got around to it now. I'm selling my Custom Designed and Made by Me fish tank stand. (design thread here (http://canreef.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=7531)

Price: $230, Jul 08: Final Price Drop $100

Dimensions:
17x50x41-3/4" (WxLxH)

Internal Frame Size:
48.5x16x41"

The inside frame is made with 2x4s. The outside was professional covered by a local Cabinet Maker. Although not shown in the pictures, the inside of the stand was primed and painted white.

The front cover is removable to full and easy access to inside the stand. It is held on by 4 clips. The clips are sligtly rusted now (I had a reef tank), but they still work. I would probably recommend new ones, which can be bought for a few dollars at Home Depot.

There is a removable 2x4" brace in the front that I designed to be able to take out to put a sump inside. I ended up not using the brace ever as the stand was strong enough.

There is a cutout in the back for access to the plugs on the wall, and there is 4 holes on the top left side (seen in picture) where I had my plumbing running.

This is a heavy stand, but also made VERY solid. Not like those you can buy in the store. I had my tank on here for around 2-1/2" years, but eventually closed it down due to time limitations.

More details available on request. This Stand is a ONE of a kind, and is VERY CLEAN looking which was why I built it. It NEEDS to go ASAP. I spent easily over $400 making this stand, offers welcome, but no LOW balls.

I had a 38g on the tank. I believe it was 12x36x18 (WxLxH)

What size is your stand? After I built the stand, I thought I might put a wider tank on it. With some research I figured I could easily cut the back lip of the stand, then screw on a 2x4 on the back to extend the width. With enough screws, onto that top base, it wouldn't go anywhere, and would still be rock solid.

I should mention the side panels including the rear and front are all 3/4". This stand is built like a tank.

Dropped the price again on this stand.

At this point, I just REALLY need it gone. I'm taking a huge loss on this, but its just taking up too much space now. Someone please take this awesome one of a kind stand!

Last bump!

Letting this go way way below my cost, it just NEEDS To be gone ASAP. $100 takes it. You won't find a stand like this ANYWHERE Else for this cost.
