Hey Brad. I think IMO i got a pretty cool configured 75g sump.
Check out my site it has pics.
I use it as a refugium but anything is possible.
I was going to support some eggcrate in the refugium for frags once it's nessecary.

Ok lets start at the begining.. what all do you expect out of your sump? what equipment do you want in it? and are you going to have a sump/refuge or just a sump?

Beginning? OK :D
Must hold a MAG 18 for skimmer feed, MAG 12 for return, tiny little pump for reactor feed. Must be quiet, and not allow bubbles to return to the tank. It will have a Kent float valve for level control. I need an area to grow out up to 20 frags. It also holds 2 heaters and a pH probe. And it has some rocks. And prolly other stuff I can't think of right now :P

Brad,
I helped MtnDewMan design his 40 gallon sump (http://www.fitermania.com/75gallonreef/equip2.htm#filtration) PM me with what you are looking for and thoughts you have. I have another 3 slower weeks before work gets almost too busy again. Right now I have crews out and I am dealing with the insurance companies over the theft of 95% of our equipment over the holidays
Scott
PS Lifereef has some great examples to get ideas from.
