Nice picture, Keana. I had an emerald crab but lost sight of it after 2 weeks or so. Either it starved to death, something ate it, or it's still in the tank but I can't see it. I tend to think it's either of the first two options. Anyways, here's hoping you have better luck than I had.:mrgreen:

I've not had a ton of luck with the couple that I've had before this guy....! I always think something ends up eating them also. Lord knows I've got some algae for them to eat.

we had a emerald crab.when it ran out of alge it started scraping the rocks and removing coraline alge

great pic!...gotta get my hands on one of those, there supposed to keep a bunch of bad algaes under control, problem is i don't have any ''bad algae'' for him to feast on, can you feed them sea weed?, don't really want him picking off coralline of the rocks..:smile:

The first one we had got big enough to haul the feeding rock back into his hiding spot! It was pretty funny watching him pull the rock around by the elastic. :biggrin:

ya i got a couple bubble algae packs on some rock that should keep him busy for a couple days when i get one
