View Full Version : seaweed
I have heard that you can buy seaweed at grocery stores inorder to save a little money. Is this true and what should I look for/look out for when purchasing it from grocery stores.
Thanks

Yes, this is true. Just look in the Asian food aisle/section for nori seaweed sheets (unseasoned/unsalted).

I have purchased the previously mentioned "YAKI SUSHI NORI" from the north end Superstore and from the St. Albert Superstore as well...

If you dont have a clip, it works well to wrap the nori arouind a piece of PVC pipe, then wrap an elastic band around it a few times to hold it in place You can then just hang the pipe in the tank , the fish will eat it as desired :)
