Just picked this badboy up at golds yeterday. I like how they told me they did not know exactly what kind it is instead of lying to me and saying it is reef safe like most people would, tahnks again for your honesty. O yeah and one off my boxfish.

book i have says that adults will prey on an assortment of sessile invertebrates (corals) and gets up to 40cm

Ya a good rule of thumb is : if it has spikes it's not reef safe

Me, I'd see what exactly it preys on in the tank since it is already in there.

I'am not going to sell it, I have a few other starfish already in the sump, I was just hoping it was reef safe. I should have listened to i have crabs, he is always right.
