Kind of expensive,but maybe a good way to go during a power outage.

It's an ecological solution... But it is connected with cloudiness. When it's big your generator will not work well...

The PSPG provides for 1500 watts of continuous household electricity (3000 watts peak). That's enough to run almost any electronic product or appliance you might connect to your wall outlet at home. Assuming you have NO sunlight, and the included PSPG backup battery has been fully charged..

what about this, not quite the same power output but in a pinch, should keep circulation up...and the price is much more realistic:

I bought one of those to run my water garden pump using solar power. Haven't tried it out yet though other than looked through the manual. The annoying thing about it for me is that it beeps when the power is low until you turn it off. The beeping will annoy my condo neighbours I'm sure.
