I am looking at adding a sump in my basement and was going to go with a rubbermaid style sump. Unfortunately, the bulging problem of the inexpensive ones limits my baffling ideas. Anyone have a large empty tank that I can convert into a sump in my basement. I am not looking at spending a lot of money, please keep that in mind!

I see me sump has given you some ideas! :D
Anyway
If you want to do it inexpensivly you could also link a few smaller tanks together with bulkheads and pvc.
I myself would much rather have some length to my sump if I did it again, more so the micro bubbles have less chance of making it through the sump if you change your flowrates or anything like that.

Instead of a rubbermaid and cheaper than a tank is tufftubs.com.
Our local guy is in abbotsford, and the 40 gallon ones cost $30 ish. Absolutely no bulging.
