Recently we got a pair of black and white false percs. They were captive-raised and wouldn't do much other than swim at the glass at the front of the tank for the first week. Throughout the next week they discovered both side glass and the back glass but not the huge anemone right in the middle of the tank. We tried coaxing them with food, scaring them with a net, but nothing would work. I printed a picture of a clownfish in an anemone and taped it to the front of the tank where they like to swim. Two days later... they are hosting the anemone!!
So I would suggest trying this method, as strange as it may seem if your clownfish wont host.

That's hilarious! I would of never thought of that. I'm glad it worked for you.

Thats wild! I also have a pair of tank raised ocellaris clowns that always stay in the top corner of my tank. I have a large anenome sitting at the bottom with no hosts they have never swam into. They do seem happy and have bred several times. Maybe I should put the TV by the tank and put on Nemo.
