the male finally released them this morning, the only reason i noticed is because the male finally was eating. they have takin refuge in the frogspawn. hopefully they can find enough to eat, you have to look really close to find them in the picture, they are bengaii cardinals

Awesome! What would the fry eat? Baby brine, possibly Cyclop-eeze?
BTW, what is that ballooning on the frogspawn?

some people place them in a 10gal tank and feed live brine and rotifers but currently i dont have a setup for it. i tried cyclopeeze today but it may be a bit large for them. im going to try and stir the sand bed once a day and see how they do. from what i have read people have not had luck raising them in a reef setting.

about the frogspawn, people say it is a sign of it splitting but never seen it before and it has split multiple times. hopefully it spits out wads of cash.......

Congrats on the wee fishies. My frogspawn does the same thing almost all the time. It went from 6 heads to like 12 in 3 or 4 months , so the ballooning cant be to bad.

i raised a few batches, i moved them to a seprate tank so they didnt end up food, they will eat baby brine, i had luck with frozen baby brine almost right away also. just be careful of pumps and bigger fish and they should do ok, i fed them 3-5 times a day
