I have never heard of them bothering any corals. I have several and they are totally fine.

the reef safe status of hermits has come under some fire lately. no conclusions have been made (that's the nature of this hobby eh?) but if any hermit is ref safe, it would be the scarlets.

imo, blue leg hermits are fine if the corals are not small frags and arent glued down... if your reef is a nano where everything is mini, then blue legs can wreak a bit of havoc i find.

The only problem I've had with hermits is they try to steal food when I feed my lps
